Do not Panic! First of all, turn of your computer and remove the damaged device. Do not try to turn on your PC/Laptop again or install or use software to try and recover the data. A damaged hard drive (or any other electronic device) has a very unpredictable behavior and in most cases, the failure worsens by the minute. Many times, it is impossible to retrieve the information because users and/or inexpert support technicians have irreparably damaged the files by using low quality software, overwriting or furtherly damaging the devices in their attempts to recover the data.
Remember: No software can recover data from a damaged hard drive.
1.- Ship us your device. As soon as we receive your device, it will be carefully examined by our engineers, and they will diagnose the problem and determine whether recovery of the data is possible or not. This stage of the process generally takes less than 8 working hours*, is free of charge* and is generally non-invasive, which means that your drive will not be intervened in any way that could jeopardize your information. 2.- Quotation. Once the problem is evaluated, and before carrying out any procedures on the device, we will send you a quotation which will include the price for the service, the estimated time frame for the recovery and an estimation of the difficulty of your case. This way, you will be able to make the decision to kick off the process based on reliable and trustworthy information.
3.- Recover your information! If you approve the quotation we will kick off the recovery process immediately. Once your files are retrieved, we will get in touch with you to send you your data recorded in the media of your choice. In case you do not approve the quotation or for some reason it is not possible to recover your data, you can pick up the device at no cost**.
